Obviously the pandemic caused serious issues with approaching anyone. Though assuming the vaccines work we may get back to some kind of normal later this year. In fact it MAY be even better than normal because both men and women have been incredibly sexually frustrated during this time.

However...

With the tragic Sarah Everard murder in London recently there has seen a real backlash against men, and a real (and genuine) concern for women's safety.

Some politician recently talked about the menace of guys "harrassing women on the streets, asking for their number..."

Well surely, a daygame approach where you ask a woman for her number at the end of the interaction is harmless?

I guess that depends on the woman's perception, and now the perception of anyone nearby who hears/sees the approach and may want to step in.

The spotlight effect has now multiplied x10, and also the fear of rejection is through the ceiling because this woman now may not just politely reject you, she may view it as sexual harrassment (especially if it's a direct approach).

On the other hand, this may now put 99.999% of men off doing any approaches, in which case the one with balls who still does it can have his pick. In personal experience recently, my IOIs from women have gone up massively - standing close, flicking hair around, double takes etc.

Interested to hear others' thoughts on this - will you still practice daygame in this climate? Do you currently? Are you scared of an accusation of sexual harrassment? Will this stop you being direct with women?
