I went on 2 dates with a girl, there was 3-4 weeks of texting between and she seemed very interested in me. On second date she gave me 4 hints before i mustered up enough courage to kiss her. It was my first kiss and it was awkward and i got anxious and probably that left bad aftertaste for her. When I drove her back home she told me if i didnt have to go she would invite me to her place, but i had people counting on me showing up to play soccer, so i didnt say anything about that. When we got put of the car we kissed a bit more, she seemed pretty eager, but i was still anxious and ended the kiss. After driving home she messeged me saying it was a great day, i replied i enjoyed it too and we texted more abt something untelated.

Next day she texts me saying she likes me and spendibg time with me but she felt like chemistry wasnt there and that she does t want to waste my time. And that she doesnt know what i thought about that. I replied that im sorry to hear it because i also liked her and that she can keep my number if her feelings change.

A week later looking back i felt like there was maybe doubt on her side and so i texted her saying i miss her and that I feel like there might have been a misu derstanding because i hadn’t expressed my feelings towards her clearly and that i would like to meet her again for a walk or a phone call.

She replied that she would like to meet me, but that she doubts that it will change anything and she doesnt want to waste my time.

I know the smart thing would be to forget her and focus on someone else, but its rare when i feel like talking to someone is as easy as it was with her, though, i think i failed to show vulnerability with her bu expressing my feelings.

But I wonder if there is a slim chance that with more confidence from me she could develop some feelings if we meet again?
