Australia about to go dark on Men's Rights and Men's Health advocacy

Just to explain what is going on in Australia.

You will have seen almost overnight, a lot of anti-male sentiment, claiming there's a national emergency for rising domestic violence - asking men to "step up" but providing a confusing message as to what this means.

There's been speculation that it was triggered by the Bondi junction attack, however a simpler reason exists.

Wouldn't you organise protests to get a cut of a billion dollars?

There is no rational argument against action that addresses the elimination of domestic violence in our communities. Women, men and children, who are victims of domestic violence deserve support and safety.

There has been a long and difficult fight to save victims of violence from harm, and this has met with some success. Over the last three decades, the rate of deaths due to domestic violence in Australia has halved.

The Australian government has added an additional $1 billion into addressing domestic violence in Australia. This should be a good thing, and properly spent, must reduce the rate of domestic violence in our communities.

What is concerning, is the hijacking of this response to domestic violence by feminist ideologists, who characterise DV as a completely gendered problem, who only see female victims and male perpetrators, and who see all men and boys as potential perpetrators of violence against women. The reality is that while women are the majority of victims of DV, many men are also victims, but they are ignored.

One of the leading feminist women's advocates advising the government is suggesting we need to study men to find out why they are killing women. She says.......

'We have to learn more about the perpetrators - who they are, what they do, how many there are, what their patterns of behaviour are, where they come from. You know, what the issues are in their lives. And we know so much about the WOMEN. I mean, the WOMEN are researched to death. Every four years the federal government does a personal safety survey which documents in immense detail what WOMEN suffer. But we need to have the same level and depth of information about the MEN.'

In addition, the powers of the Australian e-safety commissioner, the well known radical feminist currently abusing her position to pursue her former employer, Elon Musk (X), and enforce Australian censorship of internet media world wide, will be granted more powers to address misogyny on the web. According to feminists, that's r/mensrights.

So Australia may be going dark very soon. Many Australian men are being silenced to protect their jobs, their families and their homes.

Good. this is the biggest point of all. I wonder when feminists, if ever, will understand that if you approach a problem from a black and white gendered perspective true correlations are massively overlooked.

So they accused men of being dangerous. And then tax men to protect women from other men.

So non violent men have to be responsible for what other men do.

I think this is fantastic. Just wandering when a budget to fund men escaping domestic violence situations and a national solution for uplifting mens mental health and other helpful programs including not for profit psychological and therapy services might be announced.

I experienced and abusive wife for 14.5 years before she left and accused me of abuse. I was punched in the back of the head, the side of the head, kicked, scratched, choked, verbally and mentally abused with gaslighting. I didn't do anything because I knew I wouldn't be believed, I would be blamed, shame and thinking that I had to do everything to protect my wife. Who in their right mind would report abuse from a wife to police? What copper is going to believe that?

This announcement has been tearing at me for two days. While I'm free if the physical abuse, the traume from not being believed and instead being accused of such things continues to have an impact. I've lost many friends and I don't trust anyone. How many other many are in my situation?
