Food is super cheap in thailand, as are decent hotels. The dollar is on the rise over there currently, so it's getting better.

Typically you will pay one (~around 10 bux a night) fee to bar fine a bar girl, then AROUND 30 bux for a whole night of hanging out, sex, sleep together, multiple blowjobs through the night, multiple sexy times, breakfast, etc. She will want you to bar fine her for the whole week. The only way to avoid herpes is to avoid contact with people - you can reduce your risk however. I'll start by saying you should get tested yourself as most people have herpes yet most people don't know they have it. If you already have one type then the likelihood of getting that same type in another location is very very low. If you don't have herpes then risk of transmission is relatively low if both partners know about it (female to male is 4% a year for established partners) - so you may want to consider requesting them to get tested. You can also reduce your risk by 30-50% by using a condom.

Other than that you should know that oral herpes causes between 30-50% of new genital herpes infections usually through oral sex.
