So quick question about an interaction I just had.

There was this girl back in class who was just a bit older than me.I was talking to her at the earliest parts of me learning about pickup. I totally fumbled my initial approach. I dmd her on snap and said I was into anal thinking it was sophisticated and attractive for a reason I can’t explain to you today. (I was pretty young and stupid, and genuinely don’t even fw that shit. It’s gross and it hurts breh). So logical response she blocked me on snap damn.

Recently I see that I’m following her on fb so I try to go for the opposite approach. “Hey do you remember me?” She says yeah, what’s up? I say “My b coming out of the blue. But I thought you were really cute back in class, but I remember saying some shit to impress you and it totally backfiring. Im curious if I could start talking to you again? 🙂” Exact same response. She sends this gif of Thomas the fucking tank engine looking stunned and blocks me on fb. 💀💀😂

I don’t want to freak this person out. Thinking that she’s still cute makes me feel stalkery so I’m not going to continue trying for her. But what is the deal here?

When I read both attempts back now I can see their off key but what would have been the better way to go about it? I’m usually awkward when I type one way or another so I’m mostly curious if there is a middle ground I’m missing? Should I have taken it slower? Been more playful? What does that look like?

I’ve had similar issues with getting girls from my past interested. This is just the most recent example.

Usually when I talk to these people in person the interaction flows a lot better but it is a big challenge to get there, or they lose interest when I text too much. 🤨
