Strange observation: The more attractive, the less approaches?

Age is a big factor, people don't have the same social environments as they get older and there's probably not the same opportunity to approach you. Did these approaches happen in school and university?

Correlation ≠ Causation

There are more variables that have changed. If all variables were exactly the same except your physical attractiveness, you could argue it was it.

My former self (age range 16 til 20) had 2 girlfriends and 2 FWB "affairs".

2 different variables here. You and the women were younger, and were in a social setting such us school.

All of the 4 approached and "seduced" me.

More variables, that are beyond your control, those specific girls and their own confidence which are individual traits that not every other girl necessarily has to share.

My current self (age range 20 til 25 (now)) experienced exactly 0 approaches by any girl.

You are older now, including the women. People have way less tendencies to be extroverted with strange adults they don’t know. And people have other things to do, and since you are not in school, there is less likelihood people feel comfortable approaching to flirt when you don’t have that in common.

So why is it that the more attractive (objectively) you are, the less you get approached?

Because this premise is false. A lot of variables have changed and that’s the reason you don’t get approached. Also, most women you meet will never approach you no matter if you are attractive or less attractive, because they expect men to approach. You got used to thinking for some reason that women were the ones who approach and take the initiative and that is a rare thing, not the norm.

It's very illogical to me.

Once you understand, that life complexities cannot be reduced to just one variable, you will begin too see how logical it is. You are free to stop taking car rod your looks become unattractive again, and you will see how women still don’t approach you to hit on you.

Thoughts?

Men are the ones who have to approach 99% of the time, no matter how ugly or how good looking they look. Welcome to the real world

You had more plausible social access to single women when you were younger

I had the same problem at mid 20s, I was like why when I’m more confident and in shape am I getting less female interest. The reason was I was out of uni

Nah I could see it, I'm much more intimidated by attractive women. I assume there's a lot of competition and usually decide it ain't worth the effort and anxiety lol. This is why I don't get no pussy

Cuz you are not more attractive .

Your testing is flawed .

Small social groups where your personality in front of one person affects how everyone treats you .

And big social groups where it doesn’t .

women have 3 level scale Yes , maybe and NO .

When you get the personality bonus (as far as I can tell it gives you about 4 points from what you told me if you want to use 1-10 system ) you go from a maybe to a yes and get approached .

Without it you might be hot but still in the maybe category . And maybes don’t get approached .

So you just don’t think and take everything at face value .

I could ask a ex of mine and get a 10 and I know I’m not a 10 I can’t be when Alain Delon/ Chris Pine / Ian Somerhalder / Jensen Ackles exist . What would they be 15/10 ?

If you think you are as hot as them - good for you , but you are not . Otherwise we wouldn’t be having this conversation .
