As the title goes, i’m in a long distance relationship with my boyfriend, and we’ve been together for over one year, we have a 7 hour time difference. We have specific things we always do, like talk on the phone every morning and before we go to bed. We have a thing where we talk a little bit on the phone and then after have eachother on mute while we do our stuff.

Lately while it’s morning for him and late night for me i usually play some games while he gets prepared to go to work. The difference is these last two or three days, after we had our fun conversation and ended it, he is about to say ”bye” or ”goodnight” instead of muting the call and continue doing his things, when I asked him why we don’t have each other on mute he said he assumed I would go to bed because I work the next day, or he assumed I’d get ready for bed because I said I’d wash my face, but he never did this before and I’ve usually kept him on the phone although I wash my face. I don’t know if i’m being dramatic but it feels like he’s trying to get rid of me but does it in a subtle way. We will meet soon so I don’t wanna make a big deal out of it but yeah. Am I reading too deep into it? What could the explanation of this possibly be?
