I'm recently single and trying to work on myself. One of the things I want to work on is both confidence and meeting new people. I figure talking to women would help with both of these. Also getting laid is pretty cool.

I'm not hard for me to talk or meet up with women, but that's always been through dating apps. After I broke up with my last gf, I wanted to try to do this without tinder/bumble.

I get anxious and it's hard to get my foot in the door most of the time when I talk to girls. But once I do, I'm more comfortable. I've never approached a girl in real life and the thought is a little intimidating.

I tried searching where to meet new friends where I'm at (Chicago) and everyone said meetme, but unfortunately I couldn't find anything that looked interesting. I enjoy live music and go to a ton of shows. I'm going to some punk-ish show at a small bar tomorrow.

I just wanna approach and talk to cute girls without looking like an asshole. How tf do I do this?
