So, since discovering TRP and getting back into regular exercise, lifting, yoga, and clean and nutritious dieting, I have discovered a surplus of energy. If I sit still for too long, drive too long, my body feels the need to move and expend energy.

I am currently enrolled in a Real Estate pre-licensing course that is self-study with online exams. I find it difficult to train myself to sit still and read for periods longer than 20 minutes at a time. It may be the subject, and I may have to find a way to train my brain to be more interested in the material, because when I read books that are not for a class (fiction, self-help success, philosophy, nutrition, fitness, etc.), I can read for hours straight.

Any tips, techniques, tools, or mindsets / approaches that have helped you FOCUS and sit still with a book you HAVE to read but don't want to? I was able to do this effectively a few years ago in college, but I was always surrounded by classmates and friends studying as well. Maybe I just answered my own question - I need to find a place where people are doing the same thing - sitting still and studying.
