Buckle up for a litigious, drawn out divorce where the lawyers are the only winners. Lawyers are really good at manipulating wives into using the divorce process to get back at the husband, and the wives are only all too eager to go along with a scorched earth strategy, even though it burns up marital assets and leaves both parties with far less resources at the end.

They can request anything they want. Things vary from state to state, while you might be on the hook for part or law of ger legal fees, this b is normally done at final settlement; not during temporary proceedings.

At final settlement these sort of things come down to her need ans tour ability to pay. She has need of legal representation, but do you have the ability (ie a huge difference in income) that you would be forced to pay? Also you didn't get to chose her attorneys, so it's uncommon for the court to order you to pay everything to the group that you didn't pick that is out to get you.

Again, discuss with your attorney what is typical in your state and for your situation. Thyme can ask for the sun, but won't get it.
