I think it goes without saying that by and large - outside of the very small men’s rights movement - that men have done a pretty bad job organizing themselves. For being 50% of the electorate, it’s insane how in the majority of the US, men still get screwed over with child support and alimony in divorce court. Moreover, though the tides may be changing in some places, it’s. It clear to me if it’s because of men or because women are closing the pay gap in white collar jobs and are once again turning the tables in their favor.
What have women done really well to organize themselves socially and politically?
Here’s my stab at it, speaking in generalizations:
- Women are extremely selfish and solipsistic. They do not care about men’s welfare. They wouldn’t be as productive if they stopped to think about men’s welfare or egalitarianism. They don’t stop to think if it’s fair or what if the shoe was on the other foot
- Hive mind thinking. Women always prop other women up. The sisterhood. There’s an old feminist quote about there being a special place in hell for women who don’t lift other women up. Basically they use their biology and heard thinking to never criticize other women. You rarely find women criticizing Taylor Swift for example.
- Everything is a political movement for women. They use every opportunity possible to make it about women’s rights
- They’re adept at social media. Women on social media have really great comebacks. Like “who hurt you?” Or “that says a lot more about you”. Or “we first need to fix women’s rights before we get to men’s rights” Basically they have like 50 one liners they adopt to any situation. They use social media to propagate ideas to other women extremely quickly and in ways no apparent to men. Women use it to disseminate ways to get what they want out of relationships - how to divorce men while claiming to be victims, how to open up their marriages, shame men, normalize sexism behavior, etc. They also use it effectively to shame men (small dick energy, etc)
- They put the eye candy up front. The use young, attractive women - like Emma Watson a decade ago - to go talk about women’s rights. How much did a 22 year old Emma Watson know about women’s rights? Doesn’t matter. She’s young, hot, and free eye candy and advertising
- Deception. Women are masters of deception, partly because they live in delusion and solipsistic thinking. If you live only looking out for yourself AND you’re intelligent about how you speak so you don’t come off selfish, you can be dangerously productive. For a few decade and even now somewhat, men don’t know what deep shit they get into when they get married and have children. Men get swiftly taken to the cleaners art of war style so they barely have enough energy to protest because their child support payments require them to work all the time
