I had a FWB who to this day I don't know what she does for a living. I got laid off of talking about the fight I had against a goose at the age of 4(I did not win) and discussing how the time of day affects the behaviors of old people at supermarkets...I'm saying all that in a relaxed yet unsensical manner.

If you have noticed guys that are good at talking to girls ...u can be right there listening yet not able to understand what they are saying. That is because they are speaking womanese...which is socialization that is fun and detached at the same time, making it clear u don't intend to be her friend in a socially acceptable manner.

Just talk about fun observations u have about life or your surroundings or experiences and show lack of urgency in your tone by keeping it low and slow.

Learn to banter, flirt, things of the sort. Its Not easy, so maybe just read one concept, then try to use it at the first occasion (with anyone, not necessarily a girl you like)

Right. A better thing to say will create a topic of discussion. For example, instead: "do you work or study?" [her reply] "ok cool", you can be playful: "Hey, I'm not even going to ask you what you study, because I'm going to guess just by looking at you, three guesses! blah blah blah".
