She's a liberal masquerading as a conservative. Real conservative women like my grandma know men don't bother opening doors for women anymore because many women (not all) treat men like garbage. Online and real life. Real conservative women know "conservativeness" goes both ways.

Well, if that's the case then Hetero women are also obligated to serve us men by default too. But the problem is compare to men, not alot of women are conservatives and majority of them despises housewife lifestyle.

Now, I don't give shit about what women wants to do with their lives. It's their life, their choice. But the problem I have with these kinds of women is that they want a man who is traditional masculine man while they themselves would never be close to being a traditional feminine women.

This person seems ridiculous in a number of ways, but it's not at all clear what context she has in mind when she says "open doors for women".

Couldn't she just be observing couples, and lamenting that the men in those couples don't open the door for their dates/girlfriends/wives, rather than lamenting that she has to open doors herself because random men won't do it for her? Either way she's being ridiculous for asking "What's wrong with men these days?" but what she means does make a difference here, and ~~I don't see any reason to assume the worst possible meaning from her~~ I do now, see the end of this comment.

Personally, I won't open a door for a random stranger who is clearly capable of opening it themself. On the other hand, I'll open a heavy door if a feeble man or woman, who can't open it themself, asks for help, or even if they don't ask but clearly need it. I'll also open a door for a man or woman whose arms are full. It's not servitude in that case, it's just being a decent human being.

I habitually open doors for my girlfriend, even though I know she can easily do that herself, because it's a way of showing affection that comes naturally to me and makes both of us happy. Other couples don't do that, and this is perfectly fine as well; I wouldn't think there was anything wrong with the men in those couples for not doing that. It's just a very minor act of chivalry in that context, and one that is completely optional, but lots of men like to show affection in this manner and it's not hurting anyone.

EDIT: I neglected to look at the replies to the tweet in question, mainly because I despise X/Twitter and social media in general so I avoid looking at it for more seconds than necessary. I do see, from looking at the replies now, that she has made her context clear. One of her response tweets reads as follows:

The other day I was grabbing a tea and as I was walking out this guy was walking out in front of me. He looked right at me and didn’t even hold the door open.

So yes, she really does expect random men to hold the door open for her, even though she is clearly capable of using her other hand to do that. What a ridiculous, contemptible person she is.
