As per Hitchens's Razor, statistics that are asserted without evidence (i.e. pulled out of someone's arse) can be dismissed without evidence.

Same argument can be said for people getting the rabies shot. Even if the likelihood of getting bitten by an animal is incredibly small in civilised society, but if it does happen, they're a dead man walking as it has a 100% mortality rate.

People still get it despite how rare it is because of the drastic consequences of not having it if it comes up. Same with false accusations, the man gets his life ruined and loses many of his chances in life (speaking unfortunately from experience).

People should be willing to hear both sides of the argument before making an emotionally charged assumption. It's not like allegations/acts against men is even that rare to begin with.

Yeah, my family like it (personally I find it dreary) but yeah two of the males have been accused of abusive behaviour and I'm pretty sure a few females have been accused of other behaviour (sleeping with celebs and breaking up relationships) but that doesn't seem to get brought up
