So my lawyers and I are putting together a final proposal for the visitation and parenting plan for my two sons. The wife has used alienation tactics throughout the entire separation process and I’m currently able to see my sons for three hours once a month even though they live 200m away. The country I’m living in doesn’t have dual custody, and the parenting plan isn’t really that enforceable unless I take her back to court. Even then it’s a civil matter. It’s pretty much lose lose anyway however I’m hoping that legal contract will assist with me being able to see my sons and be involved in their lives.

I’m adding certain things to our parenting plan proposal, which include things such as having me as the emergency contact on my children’s school and extracurricular activities (which she didn’t do before and I found out about). Emergency process if one of my sons is hospitalized and that she has to notify me for sure etc. School / extra curricular activities which have parents attend, I must be able to attend.

What are some essentials for a detailed plan that you wished you added?
