So, obviously you never want to be an "orbiter" in the sense that you are hopelessly pining for one girl that will never give it up, but what about the "fence sitters". The girls that would fuck you when they are bored and horny and you're available?

As a matter of practice this isn't a good strategy, but I've actually been able to bang a few hot chicks whose SMV was much higher than mine when they were "in between" relationships.

These are usually girls that I was "friends" with for other reasons (bartenders, social circle, etc) so it wasn't "out of nowhere". I continued to date other girls and even though I was attracted to these "friends", I was content to hang out with them as they weren't super annoying and gave social proof in many situations. But the truth is, if these girls weren't hot I would not have been hanging around them at all. That makes me an orbiter.

It seems like TRP orthodoxy would say to next them and only pay attention to girls who reciprocate outright gaming. If I had follows that advice I would have never banged these girls.

What's the thinking on having friends that you wouldn't mind banging. Is it too much temptation to sink into beta habits?
