Her facts are crazy off, women dismiss male victims wayyyyyy more. She’s also making so much up. 90% of sexual assault victims are not women. While it’s more women than men, it’s definitely not 90%. You rarely ever see men dismiss women victims. It’s always women dismissing men. “Oh it happens to women more!”, “Your takings attention away from women victims!”, “But-but- men can’t be raped!”.

Something interesting is happening here.

Normally it's people discussing male issues who feel compelled to put up a disclaimer that women's issues exist, matter and that talking about men's issue shouldn't take away from it. They do that because they know the attacks and delegetimization is coming if they don't.

Now it's a feminist doing the same for male issues. I've never seen that before.

Is this an early sign of a turning tide?

"Erm actually, we should give women the spotlight because men are assaulted less!!" that's exactly why we need to talk about the abuse those men face. Not enough talk about it will make male victims confused on what to do or how to prevent it. This article is so bullshit. Why can't all genders just support eachother instead of bringing eachother down??
