Either that relationship didn't worked out and it's done / the guy has a lot of red flags, she doesn't want to stop talking to him, and she is wondering if you are a better match.

she is a provider hunter, meaning she has a list of things that a guy has to have/not have for her to date him and if you miss on any of those she will bounce.
I'd try to hookup with her and you will see the reaction which probably will be "I am a lady i want dinner dates and 3 dates minimum"

It means she thought you were semi attractive but was invested in this other guy who happened to either be a loser or not one to commit to her. She says that he’s her “friend” to save face and try and keep you unaware of that.

Shes asking you these questions so that she can feel safe making an investment in you - she doesn’t wanna possibly make the same mistake twice.
