It's true, people are attracted to confidence. Life is a balance though. The whole murdering psycopathic maniac thing is a bit of a turn-off for most women.

It's a movie, and not a very good one. I wouldn't read into it too much.

Also, if you're trying to be a canonically insane villain attracting a canonically insane love interest/henchman, you have bigger problems.

Yep, i just watched it and felt the same way as you described.

However, it's super unfortunate. He was being human and vulnerable. What he did was not wrong. It's just unfortunate how she responded.

She obviously was sick in the head but he came back to his senses in the end. That's not what she wanted.

We all must ask ourselves who we want to be in the end.

I've decided that if there's any woman who can't accept my human, vulnerable side, I will part with them because I believe they are not good for me and there will be someone else for them out there. As much as I understand the male/female dynamics and how they need a confident man, they can Fuk off. I am but just a human at the end of the day. If they can't see that then so be it.
