No, they're a blatantly discriminatory attack on meritocracy- you know, one of the three core principles of liberal democracy.

Do you know when it's morally acceptable to discriminate on the color of someone's skin? When you're telling them what SPF of sunscreen they need. That's about it.

It’s a luxury good in that it’s economically inefficient so one needs the luxury of being able to afford this inefficiency.

The problem I see with the article is it assumes individuals are free to buy this luxury commodity or not and this choice should be influenced by their wealth. In the real world, the decision isn’t so free. A student or employee at a woke college (most) for example doesn’t have the choice as to whether or not to pay for and consume DEI agenda, it’s forced upon them, like it or not.
