Initial Situation:
I meet a girl on a dating app, and we're both in our 20s. Looks wise we're pretty average.

First Date:

We meet up on Sunday morning for some coffee at a place she recommended; she lives 45 minutes from me, so we meet up half way. We got the coffee, and sat down on a couch, and we got to know each other pretty well. At the end, we hugged and I told her I'd text her that evening.

//Looking back, I felt like I missed a sign to kiss her, like I was getting that vibe. Man I'm dense.

After the first date:

She texts me that evening, and says she had a good time. I text back Monday morning and tell her it was nice to get to know her and we should have dinner. She said yes, and we planned for this friday evening. We messaged mainly through the app and I haven't offered her my number yet. She doesn't have any preference on a type of restaurant, so I told her I'll message back.

My game plan:

I wanna kiss her during this date, either during or after. I'm looking into some places now, and I was thinking of getting a causal place with some tacos; halfway from her place and mine. I wanna get a booth so we can sit close to each other. Then after, I'm thinking we take a stroll down to an ice cream place; cause we both like ice cream.

Is this a good plan to build the energy? Should I make the extra effort, and drive the 45 minutes to her place, and take her a ride to the restaurant? What's a good restaurant move, and what would you do in my situation
