This is likely the first time I’ll post on this subreddit. Quick background: I’m a millennial. I’ve been unplugged since my early 30s, but that time I’ve read Rollo’s book and recommended books on sexual dynamics but mainly books grounded on evolutionary psychology.

I work in a highly stressful, but financially rewarding industry. So the idea of what Rich (from Entrepreneurs in Cars) calls ‘the betatization of a thousand cuts’ makes me cringe. However, I am seriously thinking whether going for a single mom is worth the time investment. She’s drop dead gorgeous, very feminine, and successful in her own right.

Having said that, is there an exception to the rule? Should we date single moms if they have great qualities and can be loyal? Or is this just the beta conditioning that is influencing my decision?
