LETS GOOOO!! The more the movement gets talked about, the better.

I loved this video. Everything in it is perfect, except maybe one bit at the end.

Even if you think the Democrats are better in terms of things like healthcare, education, the economy, etc., this doesn't mean they are better "for men." You won't hear Democrats talking about improving men's access to healthcare or education, or advancing men's roles in the workforce. When Democrats talk about these issues, they're either gender neutral or they speak in terms of how to help women. Democrats don't get to pretend that they care about "men's issues," just because they care about issues that affect men. And personally, I don't think Democrats are better on these issues, especially the economy.

But again, aside from that minor disagreement, this video knocked it out of the park and perfectly explained the disgust that I and so many other men feel at the Democrat's sudden last minute attempt to pretend that they don't feel utter contempt for men and masculinity, just for long enough to ask for men to vote for them. Democrats won't care about men on November 6th no matter which way the election goes. Republicans won't either, but at least Republican's aren't insulting men with camo hats and "eating carbs for breakfast."

I think her point is more the rising tide rases all ships, i.e. if neither party is doing anything to help men specifically then vote for the party doing more to help in a gender neutral way...

[–]Current_Finding_4066 19 points20 points21 points 1 year ago (2 children) | Copy Link

The problem is that that some actively hurt men with gendered laws and initiatives.

[–]Tank-o-grad 1 point2 points3 points 1 year ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Both do, that's the point, just in different ways. I guess it's pick your poison and the, like I, sees the less harmful poison being that of the Democrats this time around...

[–]Current_Finding_4066 5 points6 points7 points 1 year ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I agree. On the other hand maybe fuckers need to lose and reflect on their toxic attitudes towards men. I doubt they are capable of honest self reflection. However, if they would change their toxic views, it would be beneficial down the line.

A tide that skips out on men will drown EVERYONE. If Kamala wins the election, I feel like there's a very realistic possibility that a vast portion of guys will simply stop bothering to contribute to society altogether. Part time jobs at most, no more innovation or entrepreneurship. Roads need to be repaired? See if any bears are willing to pour concrete.

There are repercussions to vilifying and forgetting about every single male in America. We're quickly approaching a FAFO event horizon.

Republicans only care about white men. They do nothing to help men of color like myself. As a matter of fact, they actively work to make our lives harder

You’re wrong mate. Democrats are better objectively for workers and policies.

GOP sucks for men.

[–]TrilIias 21 points22 points23 points 1 year ago (4 children) | Copy Link

Democrats are better objectively for workers

Democrats tried to get me fired from my job, just because I didn't want the vaccine. I'm young and healthy, Covid wasn't a threat to me, there was no evidence that the vaccine would prevent transmission, and just a few months earlier those same Democrats had been voicing skepticism of the vaccine and swearing not to take it because Trump had endorsed it.

Democrats didn't just coldly attempt to force my job to fire me, they expressed open hot contempt. They wanted people like me to be unemployable, to be unable to go to restaurants or show my face in public. They wanted me to be ejected from society so that I would die off alone, and they reveled in predicting that this would happen to people like me. 2021 was easily the worst year of my life, in no small part due to Democrats.

The only reason none of that happened is because of SCOTUS, and ultimately because of Trump's presidency and his SCOTUS nominations.

Do you think people like me are going to forget that? Do you think we won't vote accordingly?

[+]Quarto6 0 points1 point2 points 1 year ago (1 child) | Copy Link

You should be fired from your job if you refuse to get vaccinated. You endanger the health of all immumo compromised people around you.

[–]TrilIias 0 points1 point2 points 1 year ago (0 children) | Copy Link

There it is. Your opinion is noted and filed in the garbage where it belongs. I'll take this as further proof that Democrats are hostile to my vey existence and are not worth even remote consideration for my vote.

[–]MannerNo7000 -3 points-2 points-1 points 1 year ago (1 child) | Copy Link

What are your thoughts on trump denying a democratic election and hiring fake electors?

Oh and trying to force pence to not certify the vote?

Cool and normal?

[–]TrilIias 0 points1 point2 points 1 year ago (0 children) | Copy Link

What are my thoughts? I had my own suspicions about the election, even before Trump said a word (my point being that I didn't need or want him to tell me what to think about it). But ultimately, I had no proof of the election being stolen, and neither did Trump. I don't think it's dangerous to question an election, I think it's even important for transparency. What's important is that in the absence of any proof, Trump needed to step down. And he did, without incident.

I don't blame Trump for the DC riot, nor am I afraid that a repeat could ever be a "danger to our democracy." I don't think a couple hundred or even a couple thousand unarmed idiots are ever or will ever be capable of overthrowing the most powerful government that has ever existed.

What absolutely is a threat to our democracy and what would absolutely destroy our credibility as a free country with fair elections is political prosecutions. That is exactly what the Democrats have done. They did it to Kyle Rittenhouse, they're doing it now to Daniel Penny (he would not be in prison if he weren't a white man), and even more catastrophically, they're doing it to Trump. If he loses the election, Democrats will make sure he ends up in prison.

For me this election isn't about the economy, it's not about immigration, it's not about abortion. Ultimately it's not even about covid of the Democrat's authoritarianism. I think my vote for Trump in 2016 addressed that issue.

What this election is about is rejecting the Democrat's political prosecutions of Trump. It is the most dangerous threat our country has ever or could ever face. It's evil. I will not stand for it, and in the face of such actual evil, your concerns about the 2020 election seem quite petty to me.

I'm not from US, but from what I see in this is that republicans are doing Gabe tactics: "do nothing and competition destroys themselves". Even tho conservatives doesn't even like men, but because they are not so openly hostile then they are winning

[–]NewMoonlightavenger 15 points16 points17 points 1 year ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I just saw the video. If you want an outsiders perspective (not american), your political discourse needs to stop living in the past. Your left does this terrible historical accountability that treats age-old issues like they were caused by present people.

Although, I'm probably preaching to the choir here. It's just so frustrating that the rest of the world wants to follow your lead. It is leading to the same problem: disenfranchised people are being gobbled by other extreme.

Now, I'm not saying that right or left are entirely wrong. What I am saying, is that politics has become this stupid zero-sum that benefits no one but the politicians themselves.

I like what I've seen from her so far. Seems like she's made solid videos covering topics about both men and women. Will probably check it out later.

I love that crazy lady

I'm almost tempted even to buy one of those watches she promotes. They look pretty good on the face of it, but also they seem like her preferred sponsor. If wrist watches didn't cause some kind of weird arm pain on me, I absolutely would.

[–]lifesuckswannadie 5 points6 points7 points 1 year ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Ifs a great video and why we need young men to vote together in this election and make some noise

[+]MannerNo7000 -21 points-20 points-19 points 1 year ago (3 children) | Copy Link

She’s right that the Democratic Party is objectively better on a policy platform than GOP.

[–]ljfrench -1 points0 points1 point 1 year ago (2 children) | Copy Link

"Let's elect the fascist because he makes false promises and the democrats don't pay enough attention to men's issues."

Like, there's not even a comparison. Trump is *not" going to follow through on men's rights issues. He had the house and Senate for two years and didn't do that stuff then. The fools that think he will are easily fooled.

And just as I predicted, there isn't a single peep about the performative nonsense of cosplaying as a garbage man. Playing/Streaming Madden was mocked, but everyone is on board with the garbage man. Pathetic.

[–]Electronic-Quail4464 1 point2 points3 points 1 year ago (0 children) | Copy Link

You do realize that despite the GOP controlling the house and senate, a VAST portion of those Republicans weren't openly not on board with doing anything to help Donald Trump pass bills, right? They were OPEN about fighting against the Trump administration the entire time and it cost a handful of them their jobs.

[–]MannerNo7000 -3 points-2 points-1 points 1 year ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Exactly mate.

Conservatives have been conned as usual.
