So i made a post earlier which talked about a girl I been on two dates with and went alright or so I thought. But have just been put in the friendzone when asking for a 3rd Date. She doesn’t see me as more than a friend. I thought there was a genuine connection from both sides, but I guess not which really sucks. But I found out today that I matched with her best friend which she has mentioned a couple times, and I found out today about the same time as she friendzoned me over text. Because on my dating app I had apparently been texting her best friend, but when I asked for her instagram she waited till today to give it to me(I asked last week).

Could this have something to do with it and should I now go for the friend since I seems like she got permission from the other girl.

This is a really weird situation hope someone has advice.

EDIT: so it seems that I should go for the friends instead. But should I do it differently, I was being very genuine and honest and maybe even too nice with the first girl. Should I try different attitude towards the friend, or maybe just be more flirty with her, because I wasn’t very flirty looking back at It with the first girl, made her laugh a lot but didn’t really flirt if im being honest
