I recently split up with my gf(she dumped me), but through my work I have met most beautiful woman(10 years younger than me). Now I never was really escalating anything before apart from light physical contact( mutual) while we worked together and we had nice chat every now and then. I admittedly had a crush on her but due to being in a relationship I never pursued that.

My co-worker is quite a touchy person in general but not with white guys - looks like I am an exception. She mirrors my body language. She stares at me sometimes. Now I know her culture does not allow dating white guys. Maybe there is attraction but there could be too much friction. She also is quite assertive and can be seen as unkind and uncaring to others but she was always extremely nice and kind to me.

We had a staff party, and we decided that as a group we should hang out more and stay in touch( I left the job)

So we have planned something in next few months, I did reach out to her specifically about maybe going out before that. So I am unsure how she sees me now.

She replies to me once a day - and she seems keen to go out but I was hoping that we can seal the deal much faster( I don’t want to spam her with messages) but I want to be decisive. Realistically I just want to meet her 😂. I am a bit afraid to call it a date, but I understand I need to make my intentions clear. I have not been dating for a while so a bit rusty here.

I feel like if I push too hard I get rejected, but otherwise it’s a friend zone.

Just looking for some tips on how to escalate this and make sure I do the right thing :)
