This post is aimed at sharing my perspective as a mature circumcised man. Being cut against my will has shadowed my whole life since the day of discovery of what was done on me as a toddler. I've never nor will I confront my parents about what they did because I love them so much and are in their senior years. The last thing I'd want is breaking their heart at this age of their lives. I do know that their decision was based on hygienic factors and that my cut wasn't medically necessary from what I heard them saying using me as an example and recommending the op to their peers in the family. Note: If you are cut and are happy with it, this post isn't for you.

1- Supoorting my cut brethren: I know exactly how you feel if you are unhappy about being cut against your will. You're not alone. We are all in this together. There is a light at end of the tunnel (see 3 below).

2- Parents Think 10 times before subjecting your kiddo to circumcision (unless absolutely medically necessary). If you don't accept tattooing him, how could you accept a far worse alteration? At least the first could be reversed in most cases. You have 0 idea of how impactful this procedure is on many men. Especially that your man will be able to reverse it in the future (see 3), why would you even subject him to all this in the first place?

3- Hope to my cut brethren: 10 years ago I was hopeless. Restoration wasn't and still isn't convincing as it doesn't bring back the true foreskin. However, my brothers, the day I learned about regenerative foreskin was overwhelming. The idea of having a true copy of one's foreskin using DNA is mind blowing. I encourage you all to learn about and support Foregen's initiative. They are at the human clinical trials stage. Their website and Reddit channel offer information.
