I (f28) kind of got a date for nye and it's my first in a looong time. I have so many anxieties popping up that seem so dumb, and yet here I am.

For context I met someone at a holiday party last year, we talked all night but I wasn't sure if he was into me romantically. I ran into him the other day and asked abt this nye. I haven't had feelings for a guy like this in a few years and i really want to do everything right. How do I act around a guy when we mutually like eachother but haven't made a move yet? And what do guys like?? I miss the dating tips from cosmo and teen vogue, I need 2025 updates.

Im afraid of anything going over my head again. What kind of signals do guys show when they're interested? Other than like touching my arm or something?

Similarly what are things that i can do to subtly let a guy know I'm into him? I usually go with a compliment , touch his arm or something, stand closer to the guy. But idk if they pick up tht I'm interested in them.

And most generally, how do I spice up convo? I'm good at keeping up a conversation and asking interesting questions. However I'm not usually worried abt impressing or seducing others. What are some good questions women have asked you or did something that has kept you entranced?
