Keep fighting or settle?

Finally got a straight 50/50 parenting time settlement offer from stbx after 18 months in court, judge told her she needed to settle or she wouldn't like the next hearing in March, however she wants to move our son to a crappier school district, he is only 3 so he won't be in kindergarten until 3 more years essentially currently now he's in daycare/preschool program.

Where she wants to move him is $800 cheaper per month, however it's in a crappier area and crappier school they offer nothing before or after where our current area offers 7am-6pm and transportation to every school until they reach HS. And the area and schools are night and day better

My attorney says we can let judge make a ruling at pretrial to where residential address will be, and deal with the fall out if we lose then.

My question is if daycare/preschool are not mandatory in my state can I even be forced to use her crappy daycare If she wins, or can I just keep bringing him to our current daycare and then deal with kindergarten in 3 years.

Do I settle to end this, lick my wounds then take her back to court to change it in two years when he's ready for kindergarten or just fight the fight now.

Anyone deal with similar I'm meeting with my attorney to discuss strategy in a few weeks.
