Been with her 5 months. I'm late 30s, dated plenty but never found someone I wanted to marry; she's recently out of a long marriage, 8/10, very successful, kinky/solid sex drive, has a couple kids she shares custody with.

She told me a couple months in that she was in love, and I said I appreciated the sentiment but wasn't ready to have that conversation. A few weeks ago we had the conversation again and I told her I loved her back (hey: it's true...fuck, less drinking).

She comes over to cook for me once/week, always brings me gifts (cool pair of sneaks, sex toys, bottle of whiskey she knows I like)....but she is increasingly distant over text - for instance, I ran a big race today she knew I was preparing for and I didn't hear from her until this evening. She's less flirtatious over phone/text and we're having less sex than we did a couple months ago.

She's potential mate material and I'm into the idea of finally settling down. She seems to be into me, always planning our next dinner together, the sex when we have it is freaky and great, she is eager to please me, etc. Confused on where this going because: mixed signals. Any thoughts?
