1) her accepting to hang out with you and spend time together is always more positive than the alternative. It’s an indicator that she is giving you an opportunity for her to become attracted to you so it’s a good sign

2) a lot of girls talk about their exes, shit is annoying, it says more about her than it does about you. Usually indicates some insecurity, she might be trying to get a reaction out of you, who knows. I’m going to guess you are younger <20, quality girls learn that’s a bad look as they get older, but you can cut her some slack. Best advice I’ve ever gotten about how to respond is to just respond with confidence. Some guys get emotional and insecure about it, others get all confrontational, avoid both of those impulses. Instead you might say something funny like “show me a picture of yall together, dang, yall look like you two would make cute kids, too bad it didn’t work out!” And give a little tongue in Cheek shit eating grin… or let’s say you really like this chick, take it as an opportunity to open her up - they usually aren’t saying great things about their ex, ask her why she thinks it didn’t work out, ask her what made her attracted to that guy in the first place. A) you might get a road map to winning her over B) if she opens up and you listen you have won 90% of the battle of building attraction… women love that shit

3) how do you know she likes you? Try this: do you like yourself? Do you think women should be attracted to you? Do you think you have something to offer them? If so, Assume that she should like you, and carry yourself that way. Assume that there are other girls out there, of her same quality or better that like you too. When she does something you might interpret as attraction, don’t be surprised, just go with it and let her know you like her too. If she does something that communicates that she isn’t interested, don’t let it phase you at all, no sweat, maybe she will change her mind, maybe not, maybe she has a hot roommate that is twice as attractive as her, who knows? Doesn’t matter, her missed opportunity, enjoy the moment and see where things go!

Why would a lunch with a girl not be a date? Is she a coworker? Any time you hang out with a girl one on one, it might as well be a date.

Talking about exes could be good or bad, depending on the context. Generally i’d say it is a terrible conversation topic though. You want to keep it about you two and not other dudes. The topic is also often very serious and negative in some respects. You want to keep it light and fun.

Any interaction is a good sign. She can even yell at you and call you the worst names in the world and it’s still a good sign. What’s not a good sign is you don’t exist in her world/she totally ignores you.

So you can start taking advantage of a good sign you’re having right now and escalate from there. Don’t have a mentality of “oh she only treats me like a friend and just vents out to me about her exes, that means I’m fucked” but more like “this is a good chance for me to cross that touch barrier and jump out of the friend zone she’s trying to put me in.” Don’t let her dictate her reality on you, but dictate your reality on her.

Depends. If it’s a constant topic of conversation between you two, I’d say don’t waste your time. She may be somewhat interested in you but she’s likely just using you for some sort of security she’s missing in the moment, kind of like a rebound. There’ll be a dinner, 20% chance of a ONS, and that’s pretty much it. Also, if she’s constantly going on to you about her exes, it most likely means she’s not over them, major red flag. Save your money and use it on someone who’s genuinely into you.

If it’s something she’s only brought up 1-2 times, ignore the previous advice and go for it!

Touch her knee quickly during lunch while making a point. Her reaction will tell you if she's attracted or not. Often she'll do nothing, but if she pushes back or leans away, you got your answer

It all sounds promising, but you won’t get much further just by trying to figure out her feelings, you need to take initiative and make your moves to become gradually more connected and intimate.

If you haven’t made it 100% clear to her that you are into her and are taking her out on a date, not just hanging out, then you are gonna be friendzoned.

You can’t just go out to eat with women without telling her what your intentions are. You need to be clear so that the both of you are in the same page.

You can’t tell me that you both go out to eat and apparently you are clueless about what this is. If you don’t know what she thinks then the answer is clear the girl is gonna treat you as a friend because that’s what happens when you are not clear with your intentions.

So the answer to how do you know that, is by being clear yourself about what you want and then she either says yes or no, but if you just say “we should go out sometime” without specifying your intentions then you are making a mistake that leads into being treated as just a friend.
