A lot of guys tell me, “Yeah, I can talk to girls, but only when there’s context. Without context, it feels really difficult.

In this post, I’m going to explain why that’s actually not true. There’s no such thing as “no context” when approaching a girl. Every interaction has some context, and once you understand this, you’ll realize approaching is way easier than you think.

The Myth of “No Context”

When guys say they can only approach with context, they usually mean situations where there’s some built-in reason to talk - like if she’s a friend of a friend, you’re at a party, or you have some mutual connection. And I get it. When someone random comes up to you with zero context, it can feel weird.

If someone on the street just starts talking to you out of nowhere or someone calls you out of the blue, your first thought might be, “Why are they talking to me?” It feels random, and that’s uncomfortable. So naturally, you don’t want to be that guy.

But here’s the thing - there’s always context when a guy talks to a girl.

Biology Is the Context

You’re a guy. She’s a girl. That’s the context.

If you approach properly - strong eye contact, confident body language, and a good tone of voice - she already knows why you’re there. You don’t need to explain it. She can feel it.

I’ve had many times where I literally just walked up and said “Hey, I wanted to come talk to you.” That’s it. But with strong eye contact, slow town of voice etc. And in seconds, she already knew what was happening.

I mean I could be a random street seller or a guy asking for directions but she knows right away why I am there. That’s how obvious the context is. It’s just in our blood.

So what more do you need?

Approaching a Girl Is Never Truly Cold

Guys overcomplicate this. They think approaching a girl is like a business cold call - where the person has no clue why you’re reaching out. But it’s not the same. I have worked in face to face sales and software sales and it's much harder to "provide context" when you reach out cold.

If you approach a guy, he might wonder, “Is this guy trying to sell me something? Is he a threat?”. If you cold call a business, many times you will get an answer: "Okay, and who is this?" But when you approach a girl, she already understands what’s happening - if you do it right.

That’s why showing intent is important. If you approach hesitantly, mumbling some weak excuse for talking to her, then it feels weird and it "lacks context". She might be confused - "Okay, so what do you want?"

But if you own what you say and show your intent? The context is crystal clear.

The Only Situation Where This Happens

Think about it - where else in life can you randomly talk to someone for ten minutes you have never met before and you just approached on the street, grab a drink with them right after, and then a few hours later, they're back at your place?

It doesn’t happen in business. It doesn’t happen with strangers in any other social situation. But between a man and a woman? It happens all the time.

That’s because biology has already set the context for you. She knows why you’re talking to her.

So stop overthinking this. Stop looking for some excuse to make the approach “easier” or "less cold". You already have all the context you need.

Go talk to her.

P.S. A lot of people comment on my posts - Okay, but how do you actually "talk to her" and "show intent"? This post is just motivation or theory! Guys, I have written plenty about this in my other posts. I cannot cover this everytime I make a post, and if you just spend 5 seconds browsing my past posts, you will find this. If you don't know where to start, I have pinned a flirting post on top of my profile. Hope this helps.
