I was having a conversation with one of my coworkers today at work- one of his friends recommended a sandwich place to him, he went to check their website for the menu only to find that they didn't have one. We talked a little about how weird it is for a place that sells food to not have an online presence- whenever i'm hungry in my apartment, the first thing I do is hop online to find a place that looks good, and then order takeout or delivery.

I found out through our conversationt that a lot of restaurants in the poorer parts of town do not have any online presence- no social media, website or anything. My question- do you think it would be profitable to approach these businesses, and talk to the manager about creating and hosting a website for them? I could charge a good amount per hour as a consultant, and then charge like 40 a month to "maintain the website (its only $10 to host). Good idea or no?
