You can literally find videos of the Thai conscription process and it’s horrifying.

The men (boys) are called up and have to pull from a lottery to see if they will be enslaved or not. You can find plenty of them literally fainting from relief because they were scared but won the lottery and don’t have to be in the military... and plenty of them fainting because their worst fear has come true and they will be enslaved. You can find them crying and shaking.

If you look at the USSC caselaw, the last time it was looked at they said that it was OK to only draft men because the draft is primarily for combat replacements and women were currently barred from combat jobs. Currently women are allowed in combat jobs, there is now a valid constitutional challenge to the law.

What is their classification for "transgender" women? What would be the procedures to be identified as one?

I won't be surprised if a lot of men start coming out as transgender to avoid conscription during wars just like as many did by claiming to be gay during Vietnam War.

currently this might be the only thing that is still good about being transgender in america and that is that when they finally have the draft that trump and the republicans are racing towards they can not be drafted but what she is saying id insane especially if she still supports feminism after all feminist have worked with republicans to put these women through because they might think their the same as biological women but their not seen that way by biological women and without any respect they will tell them not only that but that they hate them.

Even though I'm a male advocate, I'm still for drafting only men or mainly men at least for frontline combat. This is not something which I like but we don't really have any other practical option.

When the survival of your country is at stake, I want to utilize the best resources and weaponry I've to ensure our victory, and therefore it makes more sense to have men rather than women to have an advantage over our enemy.

Whether we like it or not men have evolved for warfare and hunting large animals through thousands and millions of years. There are so many ways in which men are more suited for warfare, having on average greater overall body strength pound for pound, more muscle and less fat, can gain muscle and lose fat much faster, much greater stamina, greater athleticism, more accurate throwing and intercepting ability, greater visual spatial intelligence, greater pain tolerance, less resistant to injuries, stronger bones, thicker skins, psychologically much more aggressive and violent, eyes more suited for tracking, better reaction time and hand-eye coordination, not having to go through menstruation etc.

So even if a male and female perform identically on an army fitness test, it's still preferable to take the male.

Add to that male are more expendable since their reproductive labor is much less, a man can father hundreds of kids in a year, whereas a woman can only give birth to one.

That said losing too many men will also screw up the sex ratio and possibly cause economic problems. So to make this up, while I would still have some women drafted in non-frontline combat roles, I will have women undergo IVF in exchange for avoiding conscription so as to prevent the collapse of the sex ratio.

Men and women will never be identical and have different roles in our civilization and we should learn to respect this.
