Honestly, I'm not a fan of politics, but I usually read feminist and MRA subreddits just to see opposing views on hot topics from what I considered radicalised individuals.

However, i have just had one of the most vile and eye opening interactions into how men are treated and seen by others, at least by a majority of redditors that is. I know brigading isn't allowed do I won't mention subreddits, but here's the general overview.

A post asks why misandry is always put alongside with misogyny and never given a voice of its own.

Comments saying men are more bigoted than women, Comments saying misandry isn't real, that "misogyny kills, misandry doesn't do anything" shit like "men just want girlfriends" "women should hate men more tbh for what they do" ALL ACTUALLY REAL COMMENTS. What in the fuck?

I tried replying to a few, mentioning war and the draft in a few and asking how they could ignore misandry, what do I get? "Men made the laws" as if rich men who wouldn't be affected represent the wants of all men? I get comments trying to gaslight me saying.im "blaming women for the Ukrainian war"?! Literally blamed misandry, said the word woman once and not in that context, I call them out, I GET DOWNVOTED, IGNORED and they repeat random bs and insults like some fucking CHAT GPT programmed to spread random sexist bullshit. I'm pissed. How can these people be real, and how does pointing out objective evidence get dismissed and mocked?

I don't know what to do. I'm not a fan of reddit as it is because, politics, radicalisation ect, but I'm so abhorrently disgusted with this situation. I truly, truly hope that this outlook changes or is at least a minority of people, as otherwise society for men is quickly.going down the shitter. Good night reddit. But to the Mras reading this, don't become like the vile people in the same way just against women instead of men, otherwise we have no moral highground in tearing these people's absolute lack of sympathies to the ground.
