As a big Dodger fan, I have followed the entire timeline of this mans downfall. The guy went from making 30 million a year to being blackballed by the MLB because of what was proven to be false accusations. Trevor should have been the poster boy for false allegations, but instead he's still somehow just another abusive asshole.

The way that reddit has treated this ordeal is despicable. From the very beginning, Bauer was treated like he was guilty. And even after all of the incriminating evidence came out that showed this girl was making false accusations, reddit still hates Bauer and treats him like a criminal.

Bauer probably would have been found guilty if Lindsey Hill wasn't the absolute dumbest person alive. Thanks to a text to her friend that literally said Bauer was her next victim and that she was going for the bag, as well as a video from immediately after the sex that showed her smirking, this case was a layup for Bauer. But still the large majority of reddit hate Bauer.

So what's the moral of the story?

Even in the best case scenario of being able to prove your innocence in the court of law, the guy still gets treated like he's guilty by the public as well as the MLB. Despite being proven innocent, he didn't get his job back, hell, he didn't even get an apology. This 300k aint even punishment for the false allegations, its punishment for violating an NDA. So again if Lindsey Hill wasn't a complete moron, she woulda been rich off of these false allegations. But since Lindsey Hill is a complete moron, she still had zero consequences and her insurance paid the 300k.

Only $300,000? That’s not enough. Trevor’s whole reputation is ruined, he should really sue MLB because he deserves millions (just based on an accusation itself his life is ruined)

She should do DOUBLE (at minimum) the time he would've gotten had he been convicted. These women need to be held accountable for their actions..

Both women deserve the same time in jail as he would have got for rape but doubled as women's prisons are more comfortable than men's prisons and to set an example..
