And, God forbid you get married. What could be worse--especially when she's smart, kind, and on a path to be successful. Today, my wife earns $500K as an interventional radiologist. When I was out of work on short-term disability it was her income that kept us from foundering.

The best thing? There's no need to "repeat the entire attraction cycle if I want to have sex again." For us, it's just as much a part of our lives as curling up on the couch to watch a movie on Netflix. And, as to the "quality" of the sex, it may be less frequent but no less enjoyable.

On a personal note, if a woman has feelings for you, moving on just to get your rocks off with the advice to "don't even feel bad", is deplorable.

Expect a hard landing along the way when it's your turn to be left asking "Why?"--and don't think it can't happen.
