I was under the spell of this effect for so long and I still struggle (at times) to truly disbelieve it - though I know I should. I remember in Cassie Jaye's documentary, the thing that was most memorable for me was when she said something along the lines of how it's difficult for her to imagine women doing evil things. Just let that sink in. That's the grip that this "women are wonderful" effect has on society.

In reality, both women and men are capable of good and bad. They're both capable of being caring or cold.
