How do you deal with gatekeepers?

Maybe being very "friendly and outgoing" is the problem. I have met many guys in my life who were too friendly and outgoing. And it very quickly became annoying to be around them. They often had this needy "give me attention" or "please be my friend" vibe. I quickly try to gatekeep people like that from entering my group of friends.

But i don't know how you are - obviously. Some people are too friendly and talkative. And some have the opposite problem.

Make eye contact as he's gatekeeping then when he's done talking get right back into talking with the girl like he doesn't exist

Don't bother trying to fix this on the men's side. They will gatekeep you regardless of whether you're nice to them or not.

Instead, be allies with the women. Be friendly, outgoing, charming. Do whatever it takes to get them on your side. The men will naturally follow after that. And if you wanna take things a step further, be the one who organises the best parties. Then, you can decide which men get to be in the group.

Stop generalizing guys when you probably just mean 1 or 2 situations this has happened to you.

Stop looking for different conclusions from the same people/group.

Find different people/group entirely.

That's social circles for you. A lot of backstabbing going on . Focus on connecting and making friends with the women. Ignore the guys . The more you have female friends in your university the more power you get. I'm not saying befriend everyone but try to have at least ten female friends that you are friendly and flirty with but too won't hook up with. Make sure they are leaders as in they have other girls following them. Invite them out to events or even things you would do daily: lunch, watching a show, going for a coffee, having drinks. You wil start getting invited to all the events because you know a lot of girls. They won't even care about your personality.
