Primary school education is dominated by women. I would argue that these are not DEI hires, but that these are privileged women who are very aware of their privilege and take advantage of it.

Many of the female teachers caught are white or asian, the same two kinds of women often pushing radical feminist and misandrist narratives. Fork found in kitchen.

What do you expect when there is no deterrent? In Australia women are never punished for raping boys. Women know this and act accordingly. As a result it’s only going to keep increasing.

I see a lot of white female teachers doing the deed, I wouldn't call it DEI if teaching is such a female dominated field... They're bad because they want to be and they can be.

I think there isn't enough punishment for the crimes for these women to stop. I see their husbands stand by them, they get basically no time, looks like they seem to escape sex offense registry, and they can just add it as a notch in their belt.

To excuse this while every reasonable person is trying to uncover what this walking slice of American cheese was doing with little kids is crazy. These women clearly want the kids menu at the drive through and instead of destroy that idea completely for everyone. They get off with basically nothing.

Nobody should be doing, or should want to do this. But when we actively punish one side and not the other, we're saying through action, or inaction, that one side isn't as bad as the other, even when the same thoughts and intent are what brought both actions into play.

It’s because women have become so hypergamous that they have priced themselves out of the dating market. Many more teachers are single these days because they can’t find a chad who will commit to them. So that’s when they turn to underage boys instead.

It's absolutely vile. And society usually turns a blind eye to it because the victims are men, using excuses like "he liked it, he had to have an erection to be raped", or "females have it worse"

Its just hard to ignore that these predators are essentially free roaming then cry when caught and act like its not a big deal, if it were men doing this there's an uproar (rightfully so)....

As someone who has been keep tracking of teachers sexually abusing students, based on news reports, evidence, and self-reports, the vast majority are still males.

I would estimate female offenders to make up around 10-20%, which is still a quite significant amount, so it's not something which is rare and more awareness should be raised about it.

I don't doubt a lot of female abuse is not being reported, since it is still considered a taboo and often not taken seriously at all. It is also something that was probably something considered impossible as recently a couple decades ago and only recently we are seeing more awareness about it. However, there is no evidence that women are doing it at higher rates than men.

Back in May 2022, it was reported that at least 135 teachers and aides were charged with child sex crimes in the U.S., 105 men and 30 women. So that's 77.8% males.

A 2014 study regarding sexual abuse by teacher in the southeastern states of the US, 74% perpertrators were males.

A 2019 study of cases of teacher sexual abuse reported in the U.S. media over 2014-2019, found 71% of the perpetrators were males.

A 2023 U.S. involving a large sample of recent high schol graduates found for those that had experience at least one form of educator sexual misconduct, 85% perpetrators were males. This takes away the bias in arrests and laws.

You can personally do some research regarding these cases as well, here is a twitter account keeping track of such cases, and you can clearly see it seems to be ~80% males.

Also keep in mind that the vast majority of school teachers are females, with women making up 77% of the K-12 teachers in the U.S (89% for elementary, 72% for middle, and 60% for high school), so assuming things are proportionate it would still make majority of the offenders as females, which does not seem to be the case.

Do we just assume these are DEI hires with shitty degrees?

Interestingly a lot of the teachers that are caught were performing well and many of them even won teacher of the year awards. I can't find it but I remember a study showing that these offenders are more likely to be well performing teachers as well so as to possibly .

Though one thing that I notice is a lot of teachers these days, especially many getting caught, are actually quite young as well.

Additionally teaching is not really a very high paying professions, so I doubt a lot of bright and hard working people would even want to get into it.

When you say “you’ve noticed” and “oddly high number” what do you mean? How/where have you noticed this? What is the number and how does it compare to the reverse gender dynamic? Does any data support this? Or are you just literally making up a trend that isn’t happening and then being mad about the hypothetical you invented?
