Wtf? Aside from all the other drivel she spews, girly doesn’t even know what an “Audiophile” is.

It’s not someone who likes music and has a varying, educated or cultured taste in different artists and genres, it’s someone who cares about high fidelity sound systems that reproduce the sound of the music as close to how it sounded in the studio.

I wonder what they'd think about me where the only songs I listen to by woman are: hymns whose authors are female, a lament written by a woman in the 1700's, Annwn, and Stevie Nicks. None of these are popular with young women. My music taste is just very eclectic and old-fashioned.

Actually, I might be wrong, but I remember Stevie Nicks saying at some point that women are harsher on her than men because she "sounds too masculine" or something. I've heard a number of women my age say that exact thing decades later. More things change, more they stay same, I guess.

This... is all an aside. The OOP post is just more stupidity from Reddit trying to make up "crap-tests" for men.

I AM gay. I have a boyfriend... And music taste has nothing to do with that. My top three artists in my music rotation are Radiohead, Weezer, and RHCP. In my entire playlist, there is one Florence and the machine song. I do not hate women, nor will I. I do think that Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, the ENTIRE pop music scene is overrated (which, for clarification, is mainly dominated by men). Just because I don't like pop doesn't mean that I don't like women in pop.

The only female-fronted band I semi-regularly listen to is Paramore. I guess I'm a misogynist, especially since I don't hold all the current pop starlets in very high regard.

I'm a woman and I don't listen to many female artists. There just aren't that many female musicians that make the music I like. Still a result of misogyny, I think, but for a different reason than she thinks.
