You want to put a shirtless photo, i know that feeling. I also want to put it! But you probably shouldn't. Most women don't like them and will actively reject you for it.

Recently had a one night stand with a girl who said that she swipes no on any guy with shirtless photos. I know she's not alone. I've tested this soooo much it's insane. Shirtless photos drag down your profile. No matter how well they're taken, how candid they look, how ripped you are, or whatever.

Are there some women who like shirtless photos? Yes. But they're very much in the minority - and those women will not reject your profile if you don't have one. So your matches will go down notably. So it's not worth it unless your problem is getting too many matches - and I'm guessing it isn't.

Wear clothing that are well fitted - show your physique that way.

You have to remember that the biggest complaint women have on dating apps is that sooo many guys seem extremely thirsty just for sex right away. How do you think a shirtless pic makes you seem? Like you're also thirsty for sex like all the other guys that have sent her horrible over sexualized messages and dick pics. You'll be lumped together with that group.

Using a shirtless photo is like telling a beautiful woman that she's beautiful. A lot of guys think it's a great strategy but it isn't. It just gets you lumped in with the "loser" group in her mind.

Beach, soccer, wherever. Just don’t do a silly mirror selfie gym posing selfie.

Rule of thumb is to only have 1 (one) physique shirtless pic and it NEEDS to be CANDID or at least look candid. E.g make it look as if someone else has taken the shot without you looking like “hey look at my abs”

Shirtless photo can be cringe, it needs to be very organic and paired with a decent solo picture and another with friends (some female if possible). A shirtless photo with some friends, like a beach party or something would be top tier.

If you have a good physique, you do not need to be shirtless to convey that.

That said, if you are absolutely sure that being shirtless in your profile best conveys what you offer, go nuts my friend.
