Tonality matters a lot when you do those things. In texts it can be taken badly if she reads it with a wrong tone. In person it would be easier to make it known that you are not being serious, but in texts it can backfire.

A better way to say it would be: "Look at you brains and beauty, you are setting the bar high"

This way it sounds less judgmental, but still conveys a tone of "welcome" surprise.

In the right context it can be challenging banter. In the wrong context it's a stiff insult.

That's the point of it is to show her the challenge that unless she can prove otherwise that you might think less of her... or you may just say it to throw her off her game.

Don’t overthink messaging of any kind.

You really can’t build any meaningful attraction over text unless you know the girl is already attracted to you in the first place.

In fact the only reason to text a girl you’re interested in should be to make plans to see her in person.

Flirting and teasing is really only effective in real life, where the girl can feel your presence and frame when you tell her certain things.
