The flirt section - a good looking guy messaged a colleague on teams and it was met with “aww he likes you, give him a chance” and loads of nice cute things. It became an office scandal of them teasing her with this guy and making funny jokes about them getting married and all of that. He’s good looking, around 6 foot and is conventionally attractive.

She eventually said no, but it was done and dusted.

Harassment - So there is this guy in the IT department that seems to have taken a liking to one of the girls in my team. He’s a quiet, reserved guy who isn’t conventionally attractive.

It’s been a few weeks and they see each other in the hallways but he’s way too shy to say hi.

He dropped her a message asking for her Instagram over teams.

Okay so first off - I know teams was wrong it should be professional only. But where was this logic with the other guy? He also didn’t speak to her in person.

But then she literally told everyone in the office and every single woman in there proceeded to absolutely bash him about his appearance, calling him an ugly nerd, incel, called him short, weird, creeper, stalker, and everything under the sun.

They started to get so creeped out and reported him to HR for harassment. INSTANTLY. There’s 3-4 “witnesses” to him harassing her and stalking her - all completely made up I’m not even shitting you.

I feel terrible for him, he’s probably going to lose his job and this could ruin his career.
