Thoughts? That the person who made that and those that relate to it have had awful relationship experiences or no experience at all.

If you only see a partner as someone who can give you something then you’re never going to have fulfilling relationships. Your partner should be someone you see as a friend as well as a romantic partner, someone you have common interests with, can talk to etc.

When I was a child, teens/20s, girls avoided me like the plague. They called me creepy enough that I believed them.

Young me was heartbroken for decades because I couldn't get a GF.

Then I had an LTR with a long time friend. We were together for a few years and co-habitated.

Now that I'm single again and back in my own place, I plan to keep it that way. I knew relationships were work, but I underestimated how much work and how much pain someone I love can inflict upon me.

A lot of the stuff on the no GF side like "being able to dress however you want" seem more like a problem with the GF.

Also "save money" I guess is really dependent on where you live.

My utilities and mortgage owuld be a lot lower if I lived with someone (assuming they actually contribute financially, which again, is a GF specific thing).

The number of times you wrote Peace on the No GF side just seems excessive.

My thoughts:

I like the concept, I feel like this is a "first draft" that requires a bunch of changes before it's ready for prime time. I look forward to a version that's a little but more subtle and has appeal to an audience beyond just those of us on this sub.

If your happiness is your highest moral purpose, then pursuing a girlfriend hands down. If you just want to avoid bad stuff possibly happening to you, the negative effect of not pursuing a girlfriend when you have the time is much worse than the risk of a bad girlfriend. And most of the negatives listed are entirely avoidable.
