So I'll try to keep this short. I was dating an extremely attractive 23 year old girl (she's the kind that gets whoever she wants - has been with multiple NBA and NFL players). We were going for 6 or 7 months. The entire time I thought she was more into me than vice versa, I was pretty alpha from my viewpoint.

But, when the relationship started, she warned me that she was thinking of moving to another state. Part way through, she said she was thinking of staying for me. Two months before getting dumped she told me she was definitely moving but wanted to do long distance. Then one night she came over and said she "was confused" and "didn't know what to do." I told her I loved her and supported whatever she wanted to do. Next thing you know we're broken up and she "has lost all attraction to me."

Does this sound more like a case of a young, superficial girl trying to move away independently or would I still have her if I would have been more alpha when she said "she was confused"? If so, how the hell can you ever tell a girl you love her without losing frame?

I really didn't think I would ever be dumped by her to be totally honest...I'm on my way to being a very high earner in a couple of years, decently attractive, and have a lot of interesting shit going on. It was a pretty big blow to my self esteem and makes me wonder if I was out of my league too.

Edit: update, she is now dating a guy who was in the friend zone before. The predictability is unreal. Can't believe I accepted the lies at first.
