I realize the sub I'm in, but just don't know where else to post this. I am really at the point of max frustration.

Every relationship I ever was in was a complete waste of time and / or failure. I keep reading that all women aren't the same, which I'm sure is true, but why then do I always attract the ones that are?

Let me show you why I'm so frustrated in order of relationships:

  1. Strings me along for 3 years, talking about she's going to move after she finishes "school." Once she finished, she hits me with the "you're not Indian like I am, therefore my parents won't allow it." Then I get ghosted. Somehow prior to that surprise she never mentioned an issue.

  2. Ex girlfriend of 1.5 years cheated with 3 people and started fights with me after the fact to make me break up with her.

  3. This girl was never my girlfriend, but basically friend-zoned me. I asked her if she wanted to be in a relationship after a year of trying (probably shouldn't have waited a year, and she never gave me a straight answer - I eventually just stopped hanging out with her). Then she tried hitting me up after the fact.

  4. (Ex-wife: complete narcissist who destroyed nearly a decade of my life- this one was so extreme I don't even want to get into the details here).

I waited multiple years since my marriage went to hell, and was single and not looking, when a person I knew from my younger years in school hits me up. We start talking daily and I thought things were slowly going somewhere, but they only seemed focus on sex and not anything else. I said I don't want sex alone, just wondering if what we had was leading to a relationship. After months of talking, suddenly "I don't know if that's what I am looking for." " I am not ready." "I am working on myself." "Not sure, but I really care about you though." YOU hit me up is what I responded. Now suddenly you don't know? What were your intentions? I made it clear from the jump that I'm not out looking for sex; rather a person to love. She then hits me with the "hopefully you take care of yourself, please try not to message me again."

I'm furious and disappointed. I was finally okay and doing good for myself then this person popped up out of nowhere and then starts telling me that I have no confidence because I told her I want a relationship, not sex only. Didn't force it but let it be known that's what my intentions were. I was made to feel bad that that's what I wanted rather than something else.

I think there's something wrong with me, because the common scenario in all of the above is ME. And the fact that I was always trying to build something and they all were willing to walk away from me and throw me away when there I am always trying to do my best to continue and work towards something.

I'm so sick of it all, I just told the last one to block me and never ever contact me again.
