Personally, I think it’s still presumptuous to sit at a woman’s table or bench when approaching, but I can imagine it working and wonder whether anyone’s noticed improvements.

Obviously it’s context dependent. At a bar I think it’s okay, but I’m more wondering for other contexts like cafes, park benches, etc.

I prefer to try to stand and talk to the woman if she’s sitting during an approach, which has worked okay, they’re at least willing to talk sometimes. However, can anyone say whether their results have improved if they just sit by them or ask to sit?
