I went on a first date with a woman and objectively it went fine: good conversation, light flirting, some physical closeness, and we both enjoyed the time. She also texted me after the date which is a good sign.

That said, there was no kiss and even the goodbye hug felt quite reserved. I assume this is partly cultural, as she comes from a conservative arabic country and wasn’t raised in Western dating culture.

At one point I playfully seeded an idea that implied spending time at her place (something like her making tea for me and I watch her dancing). She then mentioned that she lives in an all-female shared apartment where men are not allowed.

When I date, I usually look for one of two things: either emotional connection and love (basically potential girlfriend) or just fun & sex.

I wouldn't see her as girlfriend material; I don't feel the same fun and/or connection with her as I do with other women. And sex seems difficult aswell because men are forbidden in her shared apartment, and hugs are distant. I can't pull her to my place neither because I live in a village with my conservative parents.

She seems to like me but I imagine the chances of having sex on the second or even 3rd date to be slim. So I’m unsure whether it makes sense to go on a second date. Like imagine having sex on the 6th Date after it's more obvious to sleep together, is that shit worth it?

What do you guys think about it?
