The idea that you cannot do both is just completely bizarre. At some point you prioritize career or family, but until then you are free to do both concurrently.

You can: 1) have the means to be economically independent on your own, and also 2) be dating intentionally to find a husband. These are not inherently contradictory, and women do this all the time when they are young regardless of whether or not they are red pilled.

Also, practically speaking, how would a woman have no skills even if she is not college educated? Women still have to work to afford rent, even if they are living with roommates, and presumably even if she is working retail, there are opportunities to move up and whatnot. It’s not like women are sitting at home twiddling their thumbs, waiting for some man to come with his calling card.

On top of this, finding a man early does not mean you have to give up your entire career, I have no idea why you think that.

I'd be surprised if you could find an EC in the history of RPW who says women "need" to get married or that the wall is at 25.

I knew I wanted to get married and be a SAHM young so I stayed at home and worked part time while I got my college degree. I had about $10k saved by the time I graduated.

There are no guarantees in life and risks to whatever path you choose. Save money, buy disability/life insurance, and retain connections with family and friends so that you'll always have some back up options.

I came to conclusion that marriage with younger kids involved is dependency on a certain level. There’s risk in this constellation where mostly wives stay at home and the husband works. What I noticed that they always put risk factor on the women. What if husband passed away etc. Husband is also dependent on the wife to take care of children. So what if the wife passed away. I’ve saw it in many cases , young family 2 little kids and one day their mother passed away. Now what. I don’t know what happens to them now and I wish them all the best.

I believe independence and marriage is unrealistic expectations. You can’t have it all and there’s risk. Some optimism plays a huge part for why people entered a marriage and I also believe when anything happen they will still find a way. Life is a struggle married or not.

Full text: It seems like everyone here thought that women needed to marry before they hit the wall at 25, not sure if its still true.So do you think girls should just ignore their education and focus on building a family in their early 20s? Do you think they should work hard in school, aquire a bunch of debt, develop a career just to give it up to become SAHMs? Work full time as soon as school is finished, for example as waitress, concierge, secretary helper, dogsitter, etc. Doesn’t matter what really, minimum wage is already enough. Live with parents while unmarried. Invest money as early as possible for example in precious metals (gold, silver, copper, and such) and stock markets (ETFs, government bonds, etc). If she gets help or has enough money, build a small business like chewing-gum machines. These cost around 10k to set up (refurbished machine, fillings, rent). Kids love to re-fill them with creative objects. They build a good little income stream and connect with people who are self-made. Self-Study about finances, if parents are of no help. There are tons of free courses online for budgeting and investing. This is of highest priority.

I think this would be the best course for young women. They learn how to build passive income and invest money with a long term profit. This system can carry them well into old age. Because they started investing early they multiply the money early. Compound interest works for them. Few get this. They will be good wives because they handle money well.

Even without a big heritage or real estate it is possible to build a good dowry and rainy day fund/ emergency fund themselves.

If you’re 22 and you started working at 16, even with minimum wage ($7), you make around $15000 a year, that is $90k or $74000 after taxes in 6 years. Maybe you had some expenses like transportation, food, etc so let’s say you got $40000 for investing. If you invested early and wisely it’s very much possible to make around +$20000 gains after taxes (if you invested wisely you can easily double, but let’s say she’s a beginner). So you already have $60000 in your rainy day fund, in just 6 years. Without your parents or relatives gift you some extra. You can still even enjoy life a bit, travel, buy nice clothing, etc. I think it’s a comfortable start to married life.

I think these are very narrow options. I lived on my own for years before I met my husband. I got a bachelor's degree and a master's in that time, had a fulfilling career, and worked toward Public Service Loan Forgiveness, which is available to every single person in the U.S. I left my career to stay home with my kids and already have an in to teach at their school when they're all old enough. If something happened, I'd have a teaching job in a month. It's not either/or and everything in life involves risk.
