It depends where it was posted. If it was posted on a subreddit for men, you'd get more sympathetic responses. But, genders reversed it's not that common for men to be approached by women, unless he's good looking - which is probably the type of comments you'd see.

You can't assume genders reversed he'd be called an incel by most of the comments. You'r more than likely to see comments like "it's normal for men not to be approached by women. Go ask the women out".

If the commenters were women, you'd probably see more negative comments.

I'm often fed up with the "imagine genders reversed" type of comments or posts.
